The Nanophysics program delves into the study of nanoscale materials, equipping students with cutting-edge knowledge and technologies relevant to various nanotechnology industries such as nanoelectronics, nano sensors, nanofibers, nanomaterials, and nanodevices. Through the integration of work-based learning (3u1i), the program seamlessly combines theoretical concepts with practical applications, fostering the development of skilled, competitive, and innovative graduates.

Electricity and Magnetism Physics, Wave and Optics Physics, Quantum Physics, Marine Physics, Mathematical Physics, Modern Physics, Nanomaterial Physics, Thermal Physics, Numerical Methods and Computational Physics, Research Methods in Physics, Mathematics, Classical Mechanics, Basic Programming for Physicists, Introduction to Electronics, Principles of Physical Chemistry, Principles of Organic Chemistry, Solid State Science, Nanophysics Techniques, Physical Science Techniques

  • ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

STPM (SCIENCE) GRADUATES
Achieve a minimum Grade C in ONE (1) of the following subjects at the STPM level

• Mathematics


MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION (SCIENCE / ENGINEERING) GRADUATES
Achieve a minimum Grade C in ONE (1) of the following subjects at the Matriculation / Foundation level:
• Physics
• Mathematics
• Basic Engineering
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering


DIPLOMA/EQUIVALENT
Possess a diploma or any other recognized equivalent qualification approved by the University Senate.


MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY ENGLISH TEST (MUET)
Applicants must achieve a minimum of BAND 3.0 for results obtained from Session 1, 2021 onwards, or BAND 3 for results obtained in 2020 or earlier, provided the results remain valid at the time of application.
