Mathematics for Technologists I, Mathematics for Technologists II, Introduction to Circuit Theory, Introduction to Research Method, Introduction to Energy Technology, Advanced Circuit Theory, Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation, Electrical Machines Technology, Energy Efficiency, Management and Audit, Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems, Introduction to Electrical Design, Power Electronics and Drive Technology, Industrial Automation, Introduction to Smart Grid, Building Automation System, Professional Practices and Business for Technologist, Power System Technology and Application, Management and Marketing Technology, Industrial Electrical Systems, Capstone Project, Business Strategy for Technologist, Power Electronics and Drive Technology, Shipboard Electrical Power System, Industrial Project Management, Industrial Training, Undergraduate Research Project 1 and Undergraduate Research Project 2.

STPM (SCIENCE) GRADUATES
Achieve a minimum of Grade C in ONE (1) subject at the STPM level:
• Mathematics T / Physics


MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION (SCIENCE / ENGINEERING / ACCOUNTING)
Achieve a minimum of Grade C in ONE (1) subject at the Matriculation/Foundation level:
• Mathematics / Physics / Basic Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science / Civil Engineering


DIPLOMA/EQUIVALENT GRADUATES
For applicants with a Diploma / Equivalent qualification in a related field, a minimum CGPA of 2.00 is required in the relevant field.

OR

Possess other recognized qualifications deemed equivalent and approved by the University Senate.


DVM/DKM/DLKM GRADUATES
Possess a Malaysian Vocational Diploma (DVM) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.50.
Possess a Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM) equivalent to three SPM credits, meeting the following conditions:
• Academic CGPA of 3.50 or higher.
• Vocational CGPA of 3.67 or higher, and competency in all vocational modules.
• Credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM Code 1104).
• Achieve at least Grade B in Mathematics and Science at the SVM level.

OR

Possess a Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) or Advanced Skills Diploma (DLKM) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or an average score of 80%.

Achieve at least Grade C in the following SPM-level subjects:
• Mathematics
• Physics or Science


MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY ENGLISH TEST (MUET)
Applicants must achieve a minimum of BAND 3.0 for results obtained from Session 1, 2021 onwards, or BAND 3 for results obtained in 2020 or earlier, provided the results remain valid at the time of application.
