BACHELOR OF MANAGEMENT (MARITIME OPERATION) WITH HONOURS

The Maritime Operations Management field is a specialized area of maritime studies that focuses on activities and operations within the maritime industry and its supporting sectors. This includes managing cargo operations in and out of ships, overseeing bulk goods handling at ports or warehouses, and supervising the movement of cargo. Efficient maritime operations management is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of trade and shipping services, boosting national revenue, and promoting economic development in key regions. Furthermore, this field plays a critical role in supporting Malaysia’s significant income from industries and activities related to the extraction of oil and natural gas resources. As such, effective management of these operations is vital for the maritime sector, which is addressed through the Bachelor of Maritime Operations Management (Honours) program.
