This program focuses on the technology and applications in the fisheries production industry. It aims to produce experts capable of managing and supervising the fisheries industry, which is an essential sector for supplying the nation’s primary protein source. The fisheries industry must continue to be promoted and managed better, as it contributes 53% of the national protein requirement.
Aquatic Invertebrate Biology, Fisheries Biostatistics, Aquatic Botany, Fish Population Dynamics, Ecophysiology of Aquatic Organisms, Aquatic Ecology, Ichthyology, Food Safety and Quality in Seafood, Aquatic Organism Health, Aquatic Environmental Microbiology, Aquatic Product Processing, Principles of Navigation and Seamanship, Fisheries Science, Techniques for Aquatic Resource Exploitation, Fishing Gear Technology.
STPM GRADUATES (SCIENCE STREAM)
Achieve a minimum Grade C in ONE (1) subject at the STPM level:

MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION (SCIENCE / ENGINEERING) GRADUATES
Achieve a minimum Grade C in ONE (1) subject at the Matriculation/Foundation level:

DIPLOMA/EQUIVALENT GRADUATES
Possess a Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in a related field;
OR
other qualifications recognized as equivalent and approved by the University Senate.
MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY ENGLISH TEST (MUET)
Applicants must achieve a minimum of BAND 3.0 for results obtained from Session 1, 2021 onwards, or BAND 3 for results obtained in 2020 or earlier, provided the results remain valid at the time of application
